Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year

The Mobile Wrist Watches : SamSung and LG are two innovative mobile manufactures providing good handset since few years from now. They were first to introduce high end camera phones in or above 8 mega range. We also had heard about the launch of Samsung solar mobile which made a great impact on Indian mobile market. Both Samsung and LG are now about to roll out their two watch phones namely "SamSung S9110" & "LG GD910". Both SamSung S9110 and LG GD910 looks alike in design but dissimilar in specifications. Counting specification the best watch phone among both is LG GD910. LG GD910 offers video call camera and 3G, but Samsung S9110 misses both. Lets hope the price of SamSung S9110 is light to help it market the product more. Virgin Galactic unveils rocket plane thrill ride

A sleek commercial rocket plane that represents the ultimate thrill ride for well-heeled space tourists and amateur astronauts. Seating six passengers and two pilots, Virgin Space Ship Enterprise--also known as SpaceShipTwo--will begin test flights next year with commercial launchings carrying paying customers starting after government regulatory requirements are met. More than 300 people have already put down deposits or paid the full $200,000 cost of a ticket for future sub-orbital up-and-down flights aboard the new spacecraft. Most of those ticket holders, along with California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, were on hand for the SpaceShipTwo unveiling Monday at Mojave airport, braving rain, high winds and frigid temperatures to witness the long-awaited roll-out. The first Space ship "Space Ship One" was a rocket-powered aircraft that completed the first privately funded human spaceflight on June 21, 2004. SpaceShipTwo will be released at an

Project Natal

is the code name for a " controller-free gaming and entertainment experience " by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 video game platform. Based on an add-on peripheral for the Xbox 360 console, Project Natal enables users to control and interact with the Xbox 360 without the need to touch a game controller through a natural user interface using gestures, spoken commands, or presented objects and images. The project is aimed at broadening the Xbox 360's audience beyond its typically hardcore base. Project Natal was first announced on June 1, 2009 at E3 2009. Microsoft said that over a thousand software development kits began shipping to game developers that same day. Though Microsoft has not officially announced any price or release date projections for Project Natal, it is expected to be released in late 2010. Project Natal will reportedly also serve as the basis for a "new" Xbox 360. Read More : Wikipedia Project Natal Video - E3 2009: Project Natal Xbox 360 Announcem

2012: Six End-of-the-World Myths Debunked

Source: National Geographic News The end of the world is near—December 21, 2012, to be exact—according to theories based on a purported ancient Maya prediction and fanned by the marketing machine behind the 2012 movie released. But could humankind really meet its end in 2012—drowned in apocalyptic floods, walloped by a secret planet, seared by an angry sun, or thrown overboard by speeding continents? And did the ancient Maya—whose empire peaked between A.D. 250 and 900 in what is now Mexico and Central America—really predict the end of the world in 2012? At least one aspect of the 2012, end-of-the-world hype is, for some people, all too real: the fear! NASA's Ask an Astrobiologist Web site, for example, has received thousands of questions regarding the 2012 doomsday predictions—some of them disturbing, according to David Morrison, senior scientist with the NASA Astrobiology Institute. "A lot of [the submitters] are people who are genuinely frightened," Morrison said. &quo

New Earth

Source: National Geographic Throughout history, only one Earth has been known to exist in the universe. Soon there may be another. And another. And another. It took humans thousands of years to explore our own planet and centuries to comprehend our neighboring planets, but nowadays new worlds are being discovered every week. To date, astronomers have identified more than 370 “exoplanets,” worlds orbiting stars other than the sun. Many are so strange as to confirm the biologist J. B. S. Haldane’s famous remark that “the universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose.” There’s an Icarus-like “hot Saturn” 260 light-years from Earth, whirling around its parent star so rapidly that a year there lasts less than three days. Circling another star 150 light-years out is a scorched “hot Jupiter,” whose upper atmosphere is being blasted off to form a gigantic, comet-like tail. Three benighted planets have been found orbiting a pulsar—the remains of a once mighty sta
